Debutant Hugo Hall-Kahan and big man Toby Murray have both been forced to the bench after a horrofic head clash has left them both with bleeding faces.

If either of them need a concussion test, that player will be out as it will take a minimum of 15 minutes needed for testing.

Can the Crows hold on with just one player on the bench?

Premiership-winner Callum Ah Chee has done yet another hamstring and is sitting on the bench with his jacket on and ice on his leg.

He’s already had three hamstring issues this season since crossing from the Brisbane Lions.

Defender Jordon Butts has also gone down the race for the Crows, but it is not clear what his issue is, although it could be a calf.

The Crows could be down two players for the final minutes.

Jordan Dawson is a superstar. Pure and simple.

He took a mark he shouldn’t have 65 metres from goal, and then he played on and roosted a brilliant goal from 55 out.

He looks in serious discomfort with his corked hip, but he is powering through it.

Moment of the year? I think Patrick Cripps last week still has him covered, but that was a super goal.

Meanwhile, Ollie Henry has responded for the Cats with a quick goal.

Bailey Smith momentarily lost his iconic headband as well as the top portion of his jumper in a scrap with James Peatling as this clash hit fever pitch.

The two midfielders clashed 80 metres off the ball – Peatling dumping Smith in a heavy tackle and the Cats superstar responding by flinging the Crow to the turf.

Geelong finished that third quarter full of fight in more ways than one to trim a 20-point deficit back to two points at three-quarter-time.

Alex Neal-Bullen has yet again created a goal for the Crows with his lead-up work allowing the ball to get to Ben Keays who snapped a goal just moments into the last term.

Walker may be in some bother but he won a free kick soon after the restart and booted a goal from 50m out.

The home fans are roaring and the Crows are humming hut there is plenty of time to go.

Crows 66, Cats 52 with 17 mins to go.

The Cats were down 20 points but have battled back into the match at Adelaide Oval – trailing by just two points with a quarter to play.

Bailey Smith’s late clash with James Peatling will see him booed throughout the final term, but I reckon it could be just what he needs to fire up.

The Cats need this win, and so do the Crows and there is nothing in it going into the last term.

Who wants to be the hero?

Crows defender James Peatling and Cats star Bailey Smith have scrapped off the ball, with Smith’s headband torn off and his jumper ripped.

To make matters worse, he threw his shoulder at Peatling off the ball and the Crows player theatrically tumbled over, with the umpires calling a downfield free kick against Smith.

Even Mark Ricciuto, a Crows diehard, said, “The umpires have to be better than that”.

But Smith needs to keep his cool, too. That was silly – given the Cats had the ball at the time.

Jack Bowes has kicked a superb goal from the pocket after forcing a holding-the-ball decision with his tackle.

Bowes landed the kick from the pocket in his 150th AFL game.

“That’s a work of art,” David King said during commentary on Kayo Sports.

Shannon Neale and Ollie Dempsey have kicked clutch goals to bring the Cats back into this match.

The home fans are booing but they’ve both done very well to kick so accurately.

Meanwhile, Dawson is limping around but playing on – he may have hurt himself in that collision involving Walker and O’Sullivan earlier this term.
