Mitch Lewis and Harris Andrews went for the footy and neither could get it but then Nick Watson appeared again.

“The Wizard” roved the footy superbly and booted his sixth goal, and Hawthorn’s fifth in a row.

No wonder it’s loud here at the MCG. The crowd number has just landed – a whopping 97,835.

Now let’s see who’ll win it.

Big Mabior Chol has had a rough night but he won the footy and booted a goal from 50 metres out.

He didn’t celebrate too much, just went back to his knitting.

“The Hawks need to find their Lohmann,” Dunstall said on Kayo.

Who wants to lift, Hawks?

Logan Morris has booted a goal to start the last term and the Lions are almost home.

The clock will start ticking slowly for the two-time premiers, but they are on top of this match.

Hawthorn are only 20 points behind, but it feels like 50 after the Lions turned it on in a classic premiership quarter.

So, what can the Hawks do to give themselves a realistic shot at a grand final berth from here?

Shut down the Lions’ centre clearances for a start. Then recapture the run through the midfield that set up their lead in the opening half.

On top of that, once they start moving the ball, lower the eyes. They resorted to long, high bombs during the third term that were easily picked off by Lions superstar Harris Andrews.

They have to remember they have Nick Watson. He is a ground-ball dynamo, not a towering mark. They should start pumping in dirty balls, otherwise it will be game over, if it is not already.
