Our legs are often the first skin we expose after hibernating for winter, but they can benefit from some prep and care to get them ready for their big reveal.
For a start, try switching between warm and cold water on your lower legs in the shower to boost circulation. After showering, apply a cool, soothing gel using a circular motion starting at your ankles and working upwards. Follow that by applying body oil followed by a moisturiser with SPF 50+.
At night, try an AHA body cream followed by a rich body moisturiser to lock in the goodness.
To get legs party-ready, apply fake tan with a mitt on freshly exfoliated skin to act as a great daytime base. For an extra-glam evening glow, add a rich body moisturiser, paying particular attention to knees and ankles. After it’s been absorbed, apply a few drops of body oil over your knees, thighs and shins.
If you’re not a fan of the fake tan, try mixing body luminiser into your moisturiser and massaging that into your legs. This will create a shimmery, reflective finish, perfect for party nights.
For an in-salon boost, try a radiofrequency ultrasound procedure or a radiofrequency microneedling treatment, both of which can help tighten and tone the often-neglected skin above the knees.
