Hyderabad: A Rs 1 billion check will be given to the home of K Shankar Goud, a 50-year-old TGSRTC employee who died by suicide on April 23 during a corporation employees ‘ strike. His family will pay tribute to his exemplary sacrifice.
On Thursday, June 18, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar directed authorities to speed the assignment of an Indiramma House and ensure a job for a Goud’s community member.
Hemanth Goud, his brother, Shamili, and his wife, Hemalatha, a disabled person, are also in Shankar’s care. The home has been living in a rented apartment and has been facing financial problems.
After negotiations between the state and staff failed to address long-standing expectations regarding service conditions and happiness, TGSRTC launched an endless attack on April 22.
At the Narsampet bus stop where he worked, Goud set himself on fire. He passed away shortly after.
Additionally, TGSRTC employees gave to Goud’s home on their monthly salaries using the Rs. 10 million ex-gratia from the Telangana government.
Ponnam also made it clear that the state government had promised that the 1 % fitment for RPS-2021 would start going into effect on July 1 as part of the TGSRTC sammelan ( conference ). He stated that” the elections for TGSRTC recognized organizations will be held immediately.
He added that 196 policemen, 888 wires, 10 drivers, 43 employees, and 1, 137 sympathetic visits were made as part of the Bread Winner Scheme and Medical Invalidation.
The secretary reviewed pending support issues, stating that 244 of the 490 people who had been fired from company had already been reinstated and that the remaining cases may be looked at quickly. New bus stops and continuous construction
Ponnam mandated the swift execution of Mulugu Bus Station, Peddapalli Bus Depot, and Nagarkurnool. Within a week, he promised,” Foundation rocks for Vemulawada and Kathlapur bus stations did remain laid.”
He reviewed the site examination of Nampally bus stop and the restoration projects for Munugodu, Chandur, and Marriguda bus terminals. He directed the authorities to set up the plans and carry out the works on Madhira bus station so that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy may lay the foundation stone during his upcoming attend.
The secretary also suggested that immediately construction work be done on the Huzurnagar, Kodad, and Nagarkurnool bus terminals. He directed officials to make a report on the development and renovation specifications for the bus terminals in Mancherial, Chennur, Medak, Bellampalli, Parkal, Mulkanur, Dharmapuri, and Makthal.
