The neighbour of NBA star and Sydney Kings co-owner Andrew Bogut has failed to show up at court after the famous athlete applied to have an AVO taken out against her.
Bogut, 41, applied for the order against his neighbour and defendant in the matter, Michaela Newby, after an alleged incident involving the stabbing of a basketball.
He was due to have it formalised in court at Newtown on Wednesday, but the matter was held over until mid-November after Ms Newby failed to show up.

According to previous reporting from The Sunday Telegraph, Bogut’s neighbours said the basketballer and his family would play games that “usually last for one to two hours” and had become “a source of frustration for months”.
NSW Police have attended both properties, but no charges have ever been laid.
Inner West Council does not regulate noise restrictions.
Bogut is widely regarded as Australia’s greatest ever basketballer, having won an NBA title with the Golden State Warriors in 2015 and representing his country at three Olympic Games.
The matter will return to court on November 18.
