Azerbaijan Airlines and Air India form a codeshare relationship.

New Delhi: A codeshare agreement between Air India and Azerbaijan Airlines may increase travel options for people while enhancing communication between India and Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan Airlines ‘ daily flights between Delhi and Baku and Mumbai and Baku will be governed by this codeshare, which applies Air India‘s” AI” code. Customers from Delhi, Mumbai, and other locations can then easily go to Baku using an Air India seat and an Azerbaijan Airlines flight number, according to a release from Air India on Monday, August 3.

A codeshare collaboration enables passengers to easily travel on a single itinerary that includes planes operated by the two airlines.

Air India already has 26 codeshare agreements and more than 120 interline partnerships with various companies.
