Banks across India will remain closed on select dates in June 2026 due to regional festivals, religious observances and state-specific holidays. According to the holiday calendar released by the Reserve Bank of India, bank holidays vary from state to state, meaning branches in some cities may remain operational while others stay closed.
Apart from these holidays, all scheduled and non-scheduled banks will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as all Sundays.

WILL ONLINE BANKING SERVICES REMAIN AVAILABLE?
Yes. While bank branches may remain closed on these dates, customers can continue using digital banking services, including internet banking, mobile banking, ATMs and UPI transactions. However, services that require branch visits may not be available on the notified holidays.
Since bank holidays differ across states, customers are advised to check their local holiday schedule before planning branch visits. Essential banking work should be completed in advance to avoid inconvenience during holiday closures.
