A minor dispute over water splashing escalated into a violent clash between two communities in a village in Bihar’s Begusarai district, leading to the arrest of nine people. A video of the incident has also surfaced, showing people throwing bricks and stones during the violence.
According to officials, the conflict began on Friday, June 19, when water accidentally splashed onto a motorcycle rider while a person was having a bath in the open. While the incident did trigger an argument, it did not lead to any major escalation that day.

However, the next day, on June 20, violence broke out between two groups over the matter. At least five people were injured in the clash.
Following the violence, the police arrested nine individuals from both sides. The District Magistrate (DM) and the Superintendent of Police also visited the village to assess the situation.
Additional police presence has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. Officials said the situation is completely under control, and raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused.
