Itamar Ben-Gvir, the minister of national security in Israel, posted a video of himself inside the jail cell of Arab prizonier Hassan Salameh, who he threatens to kill and put to death.

The film was probably two weeks earlier, according to Ben-Gvir. He claimed he had protested the episodes when he was a girl and that he had protested against the bombings in the 1996 Jerusalem vehicle.
He added that if he were to become defense secretary in a future Jewish state, he would work to put death sentences on people like Salameh. Ben-Gvir reaffirmed his support for what he refers to as “voluntary relocation” from the occupied West Bank and Gaza.

Hamas and other Israeli organizations react
Ben-Gvir’s notes were deemed controversial and in violation of international law by Hamas.
The organization reaffirmed its efforts to secure Salameh and other Arab prisoners ‘ discharge and claimed the video would hardly affattle them.
The Palestinian Prisoners ‘ Society claimed the video exhibited a “political policy” against Arab prisoners.
The film was also criticized by the Arab Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs. Raed Abu al-Hummus, the organization’s director, claimed that Ben-Gvir’s behavior demonstrated what he termed the treatment of Palestinian detainees while degrading.
Hassan Salameh, who is he?
Israel has been detained since 1996 by Salameh, a Arab slave and Hamas figure.
He was found guilty for allegedly planning a number of attacks in 1996, including Jerusalem vehicle attacks. He was given 48 living sentences in 1997, according to Anadolu Agency.
Salameh has been imprisoned in Israel for almost three years. Israeli prisoner organizations have reported that he also spent long periods of time in solitary captivity.
His brand has been mentioned in previous prisoners-exchange agreements, including the 2011 agreement where Israeli man Gilad Shalit was freed in exchange for 1, 027 Arab prisoners.
Ben-Gvir’s most recent comments come amid his long-standing support for the death penalty for Arab prisoners and Israeli debate over the death sentence.
