The Bigg Boss 20 house has barely had time to settle in, but actor Mahhi Vij is already finding herself at the centre of the first round of friction. The preview of Monday’s episode, shown during the grand premiere, gives a glimpse of contestants bristling at what they see as Mahhi’s bossy approach to household chores.
The first little clash comes when Mahhi Vij asks TV actor Aman Gandhi to help with her luggage. Aman tells her he will happily do it, but asks her to say “please”.
When Panchayat actor Aasif Khan steps in and starts helping her without being asked, Mahhi takes a playful dig at Aman for making a fuss over the word. She then walks away, visibly annoyed, saying, “Please bolun mai tereko, bhak.” (Should I say please to you? Oh, come on.)
And that is just the beginning.
The chai becomes a talking point

Later, Mahhi Vij and Punjabi actor and rapper Badshah’s estranged wife Isha Rikhi have their first awkward moment in the kitchen over tea.
Mahhi asks Isha if she knows how to make a good, strong cup of chai, before telling her that “tum ladkiyan” (you girls) should know how to make tea. Isha is quick to push back, asking Mahhi what she is then. Mahhi fires back with, “Aye shaani mat ban chal.” (Don’t act too smart.)
The tension spills over when TV actor and influencer Arishfa Khan joins Mahhi in the lawn. Mahhi makes a remark about letting the tea boil for a while, which does not exactly help matters. Arishfa soon heads to the kitchen and complains that Mahhi is constantly ordering people around. When Mahhi later asks her to pour milk into a cup, Arishfa makes it clear that she is not impressed.
The complaints continue, with Isha telling the others that Mahhi has been asking contestants to do her chores since they entered the house. Arishfa admits she is getting “off vibes” from her, while Aman Gandhi agrees. Day 0, and the house already has its first personality clash.

The season features a mixed bunch, including television actors, film stars, creators and sportspersons. The contestants are Kanika Mann, Aasif Khan, Qazi Ahmad Tauqeer, Isha Rikhi, Amrapali Dubey, Rohed Khan, MC Mary Kom, Harsh Machare aka Yung DSA, Tanmay Singh aka Scoutop, Arishfa Khan, Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu, Aman Gandhi, Uditi Singh, Rhiti Tiwari and Mahhi Vij.
And this is only Day 0. If a cup of chai can cause this much drama, one can only imagine what the rest of the season has in store. Bigg Boss 20 streams daily at 9 pm on JioHotstar and airs at 10:30 pm ColorsTV.
