Cardi B has finally introduced her youngest son to the world, revealing his gorgeous face and name to celebrate his first birthday.
The 33-year-old American rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday to share an emotional birthday tribute to her son, whom she shares with her ex-partner, NFL player Stefon Diggs.
She also revealed his name as Grey Marsean Diggs, alongside 13 photos of him, including several from his Grey’s Anatomy-themed birthday party.
“Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs 🩶🩶🩶!!” she wrote.
“It’s only been 1 year since meeting you, but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever.
“I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me a extra strength.
“I was growing you inside of me, and at the same time you were giving me life! You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like.
“You light up my life and every room with your smile, your laugh, and your precious spirit.”
Cardi dyed her hair the colour grey for the birthday affairs which also included a towering Disney-themed cake with a roatating Mickey Mouse head on top.
The WAP singer’s celebrity friends and fans flooded the comments section of her sweet post to wish little Grey a happy birthday and compliment his looks.
“Cardi you make beautiful babies,” one follower said.
Another said: “Oh Em Geeee😍give me them lipsssss too stinking cute💋happy bday baby.”
“Them genes strong he’s a cutie,” a third added.
Last November, a representative for the musician told People that she welcomed her baby boy.
“Cardi is healthy and happy,” the rep said at the time.
Cardi also shared the news on Instagram in the caption of a video where she lip-syncs “Hello,” from her sophomore studio album Am I the Drama?
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” Cardi wrote at the time.
“My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
Cardi is also a mother to daughters Kulture Kiari, 8, and Blossom Belle, 2, as well as son Wave Set, 5, with estranged husband Offset.
