Hyderabad: A major step has been taken to restore the memorable Char Kaman, which are the four great ceremonial arches that surround Gulzar Houz in Hyderabad’s Old City.
The four gates, which were constructed during the Qutb Shahi dynasty’s reign in the late 16th centuries, included in the original urban design around the famed Gulzar Houz and the local Charminar. The bridges have been enduring images of Hyderabad’s structural and cultural legacy for more than four generations.
Owaisi issues an operational order.
Asaduddin Owaisi, a member of the Hyderabad MP, reported that the government has given the repair job a significant boost by granting administrative approval to hire consultants and solicit bids.
” I’m pleased to share that Hyderabad’s four gateways (kamaan ) will soon be repaired and restored. The state has authorized administrative action in granting the government’s request for tenders and appointing a specialist for the project, Owaisi said.
Concentrate on preservation and fundamental maintenance
The restoration work is anticipated to concentrate on fundamental repairs and history preservation, with the goal of improving the statues ‘ overall situation while preserving their historical figure. Environmentalists have long advocated for the conservation of the Char Kaman, citing the harm that era, waste, and growing urban pressures have caused over the years.
When finished, the project is anticipated to increase the Old City’s history and improve the experience of the thousands of visitors who throng the Charminar-Gulzar Houz district each year.
