Chris Hemsworth’s 14-year-old daughter is a rodeo champion.
The Thor actor shared a video of his and wife Elsa Pataky’s oldest child India riding a bucking bull, delighting the cheering crowd as she stayed on for an impressive nine seconds, ultimately winning the competition.
In the Instagram clip, an announcer introduced India to the arena and she burst into the ring on the bull.
Proud dad Chris captioned the post: “Just wanna say my daughter is a savage.
“Only girl in the comp and took home the win proud moment.”
The 43-year-old actor – who also has twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 12, with Elsa – joked before the competition that he didn’t entirely know what it involved.
In a video shared before the rodeo, he said: “There she is, champion bull rider.
“How you feeling India? Are you gonna hang on? Seven seconds?”
His daughter replied: “Seven? Why Seven? You have to stay on for eight”
Her dad quipped: “Eight seconds, what do I know?”
The Avengers: Doomsday actor and his family relocated to his native Australia several years ago and he previously admitted he thinks it was a “great decision” to get out of Los Angeles.
During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast, Chris shared: “It was right around the time my boys were born and we kind of were set up in L.A. and not enjoying it, you know? Like, nothing was shooting there. We were filming kind of everywhere else.”
Chris noted their new life Down Under just feels like a “holiday” and is set up perfectly to wind down after a hectic filming schedule.
He added: “You know when you come back from work, you wanna go on a holiday? Like, coming home for me, it feels like a holiday. We have a big farm and horses and motorbikes and surf.”
Chris admitted that his own upbringing inspired his decision to return to Australia.
He said: “We lived about 20 minutes from the main sort of suburban areas in Melbourne up in the hills. And the nearest neighbour was a kilometre or two away.
“It was just all bushland and rainforest sort of set up around us. And so we would just [have] outdoors adventures and play different characters.”
