Videos from the United Kingdom showing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay at Silverstone for actor-racer Ajith Kumar’s Michelin Le Mans Cup race, with Trisha Krishnan also present at the venue, have gone viral on social media. The clips captured Vijay greeting Ajith at the circuit ahead of the Silverstone round and have drawn wide attention online.
Trisha arrived at Silverstone on Saturday and was seen stepping out of a car in jeans, a T-shirt and a maroon jacket before entering the tent at the racing circuit. A separate video of her arrival also went viral, with fans discussing her presence after many had wondered whether she would attend the race and some had speculated that she might skip it.

Another video from Silverstone showed Vijay rushing towards Ajith and hugging him at the racing circuit. Ajith personally welcomed Vijay at the venue ahead of the Silverstone round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
Before reaching the racing circuit, Trisha was seen with veteran actor Radhika Sarathkumar in London. Radhika shared a selfie with Trisha on social media, which soon went viral. Radhika is also in London for Ajith Kumar’s Silverstone race and had earlier met Ajith ahead of the event.
Trisha had earlier attended Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in May 2026. She was seen alongside his family and later became emotional during his first address.
In August, the actor was present at the Tamil Nadu Independence Day celebrations. At Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony, she had also greeted his mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar, with a hug.
Vijay and Trisha first shared screen space in Dharani’s 2004 blockbuster Ghilli. They later worked together in Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi and Leo, becoming one of Tamil cinema’s most popular on-screen pairs.
Their friendship and public appearances together have often sparked speculation about their relationship, although neither actor has ever confirmed the rumours. The speculation drew further attention after Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, filed for divorce after 26 years of marriage, reportedly citing his alleged relationship with an actress. She later withdrew the petition.
Meanwhile, Trisha continues to be busy across South cinema. Her recent films include Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, while she was also seen in Karuppu in 2026. She currently has Vishwambhara, Ram and Dvitva in the pipeline, along with a new Tamil psychological horror film that has recently gone on floors.
