Bhojpuri actor Amrapali Dubey has addressed the long-running speculation about her relationship with actor-politician Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua. In a promo of an upcoming episode of Bhojpuri Bawaal, journalist Shubankar Mishra asks Amrapali about her equation with Nirahua, prompting her to respond firmly.
During the conversation, Shubankar initially refers to Nirahua as Aamrapali’s “brother”. She immediately corrects him, saying, “Nahi, mere toh co-actor hain (No, he is my co-actor).”

The journalist then asks if Nirahua was “just” her co-actor. Aamrapali replied, “Bilkul (Absolutely).”
The journalist then goes on to question her about their bond and suggested that they were in love. He also referred to the way Aamrapali is close to Nirahua’s children and attends their school events.
Aamrapali acknowledges her friendship with Nirahua’s children, saying, “Unke bachche mere bahut achhe dost hain” (His children are very good friends of mine).
The conversation then took a more direct turn when Shubankar suggests that Aamrapali should accept that her relationship with Nirahua is more than friendship. He also makes claims about Nirahua’s relationship with his wife.
Aamrapali did not entertain the speculation. She responds with a warning, saying, “Mere baare mein baat karne se pehle sochiyega” (Think before you speak about me).”
Aamrapali and Nirahua’s popular on-screen pairing
Aamrapali and Nirahua are among the most popular on-screen pairs in Bhojpuri cinema. Their collaboration began with the 2014 film Nirahua Hindustani, which went on to establish them as a successful screen duo.
Since then, the two have appeared together in several Bhojpuri films. Their chemistry has also made them a favourite among fans, with the pair often being seen together at events and sharing moments on social media.
Their close friendship has frequently led to speculation about their personal relationship. However, Aamrapali has maintained that Nirahua is her co-star.
