Cristiano Ronaldo will “never say never” to having more children.

The footballing legend and wife Georgina Rodriguez already raise Cristiano Jr., 16, twins Evana and Mateo, nine, Alana, eight, and four-year-old Bella together and while they don’t think now is the right time to add to their brood, they will consider it again in a decade’s time.

Asked about the possibility of more kids, Cristiano told Vogue: “I never say never.”

Georgina added: “Another baby now would be overbooking at home.

“But when the youngest are 15 or 16 we’ll still be young, so why not?

“It’s true that I can’t imagine myself without small children, so we’ll see.”

The couple both grew up in “less structured families” and they want to show their kids “the value of having nothing and of having everything” while placing them at the heart of everything they do.

Georgina said: ““The children know that our time belongs to them.”

Cristiano and Georgina married at their home in Portugal on 11 August in an intimate ceremony with just their children in attendance, and the date was important to the couple because it marked 10 years since they first met at the Gucci store where the 32-year-old beauty was working, a moment she sees as fate because she was only there as a favour to a friend.

She said: “That’s destiny.”

Cristiano, 41, added: “I had my back to her and then I turned around and saw her. Our eyes met, and from that point on it was….”

Georgina said: “It was a dream.”

He agreed: “Yes, a dream. I know she’s the love of my life, and I think I am”—he pauses and grins—“I think she thinks I’m the love of her life.”

Following years of success on the pitch, Cristiano is ready to retire and thinking ahead to his future, which will involve a lot of time with his family.

He said: “This is probably my last year of football, and I want to leave a spectacular legacy.

“I have my future all mapped out. I have so many things to keep me busy that to tell you just one thing is hard. Because football could leave a big hole, you have to fill your time in various ways, not just one.

“And also have more fun, travel more, watch and play padel, which I really like, and continue to enjoy what I’ve earned—what we’ve earned. Because after all it’s been 25 years with a lot of sacrifice.”
