The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and recorded response sheets for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination today, August 16. Candidates can check the answer key and question papers with recorded responses on the official CSIR-NET website.
The examination was conducted on July 17 and 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 224 cities at 352 centres for 1,87,739 registered candidates.

Candidates can check and download their provisional answer keys and recorded responses by logging in through the official CSIR-NET portal.
The provisional answer key has been released along with the question papers and recorded responses, allowing candidates to review their answers and raise challenges if they are not satisfied with any answer.
CSIR UGC NET ANSWER KEY OBJECTION WINDOW
Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key from August 16 to August 18, 2026, up to 11 pm.
Those who wish to challenge an answer will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of 200 per question challenged.
HOW TO PAY CHALLENGE FEE
The processing fee can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI up to August 18, 2026, at 11 pm.
NTA has clarified that no challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. Challenges submitted through any other mode will also not be accepted.
