New Delhi: A Delhi-bound IndiGo Dreamliner plane returned to London Heathrow early on Wednesday, September 23 due to a complex problem, according to a cause.
According to the information available on the journey tracking site Flightradar24.com, the Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which operated trip 6E4 from London Heathrow to Delhi, was flying for approximately an hour before turning again.
According to the source, the aircraft encountered a complex problem before safely landing up at London Heathrow.
The airport stated,” Technical problem was discovered soon after take-off on IndiGo trip 6E 04 running from London to New Delhi on 22 September 2026,” without providing any further information. The pilots made the decision to move the aircraft around and land safely at London Heathrow Airport following standard operating procedures.
The plane is currently undergoing repair checks, according to the IndiGo speech, and operations will begin once all necessary clearances have been obtained.
It was impossible to find certain information about the problem or the number of passengers on board.
According to information from Flightradar24.com, the flight had left on Wednesday at around 12.40 am ( IST ) and had returned to London Heathrow at around 2 am.
