Global music sensation Diljit Dosanjh has once again won hearts across the internet, this time for his humble and graceful handling of an innocent mistake by an international fan during his concert in Italy.
During the live show, a fan wearing a custom-printed white T-shirt featuring both the sacred Sikh symbol Ik Onkar and Diljit’s name side by side was invited onto the stage alongside a female companion.

Noticing the symbol, the Chamkila actor gently placed his hand over the shirt to address the pairing with deep reverence. Pointing to the sacred symbol, Diljit politely explained in English, “This is God… This is very special… and my name together, no, no.” He emphasised that the sacred symbol belongs solely to the divine and should not be placed alongside his own name.
Recognising the fan’s pure intentions, the singer immediately turned to the audience to defend him in Punjabi: “I respect your feelings. Inhe pata nahi, maaf kar do please (He didn’t know, please forgive him). But I respect you… Ek Onkar, mere walon saare ek ne (To me, everyone is one).”
Ensuring the fan didn’t feel embarrassed, Diljit warmly welcomed the duo, thanked them for attending the concert, presented them with a special gift box, and shared an affectionate embrace before escorting them offstage.
The heartwarming moment has since gone viral on social media, with many showering praise on the singer for upholding his spiritual values while treating a foreign fan with unmatched kindness and dignity.
Italy is only the latest stop in Diljit’s European travel diary. Before reaching Milan, the singer spent some time in Prague, where he explored the city by boat.
Before that, he was in Berlin for another stop on his tour. While exploring the German capital ahead of his concert, he was seen doing bhangra on the streets with a friend.
