According to trade website Sacnilk, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion earned Rs 53.50 crore on Saturday, taking its two-day India nett collection to Rs 115.50 crore. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 46.1 per cent on Day 2. Despite a 13.7 per cent drop from its opening-day collection, the Ajay Devgn-led thriller maintained strong momentum at the box office.

The film has also posted an impressive worldwide haul of Rs 177.10 crore in just two days. With Sunday expected to bring another jump in collections, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is on course to cross the Rs 150 crore mark in India by the end of its opening weekend.

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion marks the final chapter of the Hindi Drishyam franchise. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film features Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Prakash Raj, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kamlesh Sawant, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Samvedna Suwalka and Neha Joshi in key roles.

IndiaToday.in’s review of the film reads, “The twists and turns will impress you. The plotting will keep you engaged. There are moments when Vijay’s ability to manipulate the system remains as fascinating as ever. But when the final curtain comes down, you are left thinking: “Was that it?” After four years of waiting to see how Vijay Salgaonkar’s story finally ends, you wanted a mic-drop moment; you wanted to raise a toast. Instead, you find yourself applauding politely.”

The film arrived a few months after Mohanlal-led Drishyam 3, the Malayalam version of the franchise, released in theatres. Interestingly, the Hindi and Malayalam films take different routes with their respective stories.

The Hindi franchise began in 2015 with Drishyam, directed by Nishikant Kamat. Following its success, Drishyam 2 arrived in 2022, with Abhishek Pathak taking over as director after Kamat’s death. The latest instalment has once again brought Ajay Devgn back as Vijay Salgaonkar, with the film receiving praise for its performances, particularly those of Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat and the returning cast.
