The University of Delhi has received around 65,343 registrations for undergraduate admissions in the ongoing first phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2026–27 academic session, officials said on Monday evening.
The first phase of registration began on June 26 for candidates who appeared in CUET-UG 2026 and are seeking admission to DU colleges. Admissions to 73 undergraduate programmes and over 100 BA programme combinations across 67 colleges will be based solely on CUET-UG scores, subject to eligibility rules.

To reduce errors, DU has introduced an automated data integration system through the Government of India’s API Setu, which pulls key details such as name, date of birth, photograph and signature directly into the admission portal.
Candidates have paid a one-time registration fee of Rs 250 for general, OBC-NCL and EWS categories, while SC, ST and PwBD applicants pay Rs 100.
After Phase I closes, students will move to Phase II, where they will fill preferences for college and course combinations. They will also map CUET subjects with their Class 12 subjects to determine eligibility before seat allocation begins.
