A 17-year-old has been charged with attempted murder after another teenager was stabbed multiple times in the upper body at a toilet block in Sydney’s inner-west.
The peace of an Earlwood couple’s Friday afternoon was shattered last week, when a teenager covered head-to-toe in his own blood appeared at their doorstep begging for help.
In footage captured by a ring camera and first obtained by 7News, the stabbed teenager shuffled towards the front door of a family home minutes after the alleged incident.
The teenager was allegedly stabbed not long before 5.45pm at a toilet block in Beaman Park, Earlwood, on September 18.
With multiple wounds, the boy made his way down the street, before walking down the driveway of a home and begging the residents for assistance.
“Please, call an ambulance,” the boy can be heard saying as he slumps against the door.
One of the residents, a woman named Julie, steps outside to help the boy while ushering other residents inside to get towels and call triple-0.
On Friday afternoon, a 17-year-old boy was arrested at Burwood Police Station, where he was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to murder.
He will appear before a children’s court on Saturday.
