A phallic-shaped power outage on the NSW Central Coast has gone viral after comments caused a stir online
The community update, posted to Facebook by the NSW Central Coast Incident Alerts, News and Information page explained that power was out to customers in the Killarney Vale and Bateau Bay area after an overhead line damage caused by a power pole transformer fire.
The comment section went wild with creativity after the curious shape of Saturday morning’s outage was shared throughout the community.
“Ausgrid swears the outage is at least 4 inches,” one person commented.
Another wrote “When the lights dim and you start to think about her,”.
“The outage didn’t last as long as it claimed. It never does,” said another comment.
Another said they “pulled a hamstring running to the comments”.
Even the page’s owner poked fun at the comments writing “Update: power has been restored. Boy that was a long one.”
