According to the information available, the minor first told her mother about the alleged rape. The mother then approached the police station and filed a complaint against her husband.

ANOTHER SHOCKING CASE FROM CHHATTISGARH

In a similar incident, six people, including the father of a 16-year-old girl, were arrested in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur for repeatedly raping her.

According to the complaint, the girl’s father raped her repeatedly, resulting in pregnancies, and later arranged for her to stay with acquaintances during her second pregnancy. She eventually gave birth to a son at a Raipur hospital, after which the newborn was handed over to another person. Police said the accused also forged her Aadhaar card and increased her age to facilitate the hospital admission. A case was registered under the BNS, POCSO Act and Juvenile Justice Act, following which six people were arrested and two mobile phones were seized.
