We have four minutes of stoppage time added to the match.
Belgium have made some substitutions – they need to hold on here.
Alexis Saelemaekers and Axel Witsel come onto the field in place of Nicolas Raskin and Leandro Trossard.
Belgium 3-1 United States, 90 minutes
The US are cooking.
Folarin Balogun also takes a shot, but Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois bats it away and the US fail to add to their tally.
Belgium need to be careful here. They’ve switched off a little, while the United States have found some of the energy they’ve been missing for most of this match.
Now is not the time for the US to play safe, with eight minutes of regulation time left in this match.
Belgium 3-1 United States, 82 minutes
Things are looking good for Belgium, but the United States haven’t given up just yet.
Sebastian Berhalter takes a shot, but it goes out wide to the right of goal. Very close.
Berhalter is trying to get the crowd and his team going. He’s yelling on the pitch and throwing his arms in the air, trying to psych-up his team.
We’ve seen some crazy endings to some of the matches this World Cup – who’s to say this won’t be one of them?
Belgium 3-1 United States, 79 minutes
It’s time for another drinks break.
The United States could well be on their way out of this World Cup, as Hans Vanaken scores Belgium’s third to give them a two goal lead.
Stunning scenes in Seattle as Vanaken puts one straight past US goalkeeper Matt Freese, who came out of his box to take control of the ball, but instead loses the contest with Charles De Ketelaere, who nudges the ball to Vanaken.
That is a blunder. Bad signs for the United States and it’s hard to see how they come back from here.
Meanwhile, it’s time for Christian Pulisic to come from the pitch. Sebastian Berhalter goes on in his place.
Belgium 3-1 United States, 58 minutes
Christian Pulisic hits the deck and stays down. He wants a free kick.
It comes from a contest between him and Youri Tielemans, but the referee says play on. After some time, they blow the whistle and check on the American.
On review, there’s nothing to it, Pulisic has thrown himself on the ground for no reason. In fact, he was the one who kicked Tielemans in the back of the foot.
Belgium 2-1 United States, 53 minutes
It’s time for the second half.
There’s no way to predict which way this one will go. Both Belgium’s goals were unexpected – especially the second as it came against the run of play.
The US goal was a lot more predictable, coming from a free kick, but otherwise they’ve been a little flat in attack today.
Whichever way this match falls, it makes for an exciting finish in Seattle.
Belgium 2-1 United States, 45 minutes
OK, everyone take a breath. It’s half-time.
Safe to say that was a fairly dramatic first half, with three goals on the board as we go to the break.
First it was Belgium’s Charles De Ketelaere who scored in the ninth minute, before Malik Tillman scored the equaliser for the United States. But two minutes later, de Ketelaere had his second to put Belgium ahead as they head to the sheds.
The United States had the chance to equalise from a corner in stoppage time, but Christian Pulisic sent the ball straight into the hands of Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois.
Possession has just been in Belgium’s favour – we’ll bring you the half-time stats soon.
