Seven people, including five toddlers, have been rescued from a devastating blaze in a Queensland home.
On Wednesday morning, crews of firefighters dashed to Leslie Parade in Stanthorpe to a house ablaze.
Five children, aged between three and five, were all inside the property at the time, along with a 26-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man.
Miraculously, all seven people were able to escape from the building and were taken to hospital.
The five toddlers were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Stanthorpe Hospital.
The woman was treated for an arm injury and smoke inhalation, with the elderly man also being treated for smoke inhalation.
Queensland Fire Department has said the blaze began in the stairwell of the two-storey brick house at around 8.40am, with crews needing to remove part of its roof to extinguish the flames.
