Flipkart has officially announced its Freedom Sale ahead of Independence Day, and Apple fans already have a reason to be excited. Although the sale is still a few days away, the e-commerce platform has finally revealed the upcoming prices for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, giving buyers an early look at the savings they can expect. The Freedom Sale will begin on August 8, while Flipkart Plus and Flipkart Black members will get early access on August 7. Among the biggest showstoppers is the iPhone 17 Pro, which Flipkart says will be available with benefits worth up to Rs 17,000.

The iPhone 17 Pro, which debuted at Rs 1,34,900, will be listed at Rs 1,26,900 during the sale. This price itself shows a flat discount of Rs 8,000, with no bank offer required. Customers using eligible bank cards can reduce the price even further. Flipkart is offering an instant Rs 5,000 discount on SBI Bank credit cards and the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, bringing the effective price down to Rs 1,21,900.
On top of this, buyers can also get 5 per cent cashback, which works out to roughly Rs 4,000 on the discounted price, as per Flipkart’s Freedom Day sale page. Taken together, the flat price cut, bank discount and cashback add up to savings of around Rs 17,000.
Flipkart has also listed another payment offer for buyers using different bank cards. Under this option, the phone will still be available for Rs 1,26,900, while SBI, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank credit card users can claim an additional Rs 6,000 discount. Customers choosing EMI payments can receive another Rs 4,000 benefit, according to the teaser.
However, buyers should note that Flipkart has often offered its lowest prices only for a limited duration during sale events. If you’re planning to grab the deal, it may be worth checking out early once the sale begins.
iPhone 17 Pro Max gets similar discounts
Flipkart is extending similar offers to the iPhone 17 Pro Max as well.
The flagship, which launched at Rs 1,49,900, will also receive a flat Rs 8,000 price cut, reducing its listed sale price to Rs 1,41,900.
Those using eligible SBI or Flipkart Axis Bank credit cards can further lower the effective price with the available bank discount and cashback offers. According to Flipkart’s teaser, the effective price can go down to Rs 1,32,900, making it even cheaper than the launch price of the iPhone 17 Pro.
More iPhone deals to be revealed soon
The sale isn’t limited to Apple’s latest Pro models. Flipkart has also revealed discounts on a few other iPhones. The iPhone 15 will be available at an effective price of Rs 55,900, down from its current retail price of Rs 59,900. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Plus is set to sell at an effective price of Rs 75,900, compared to its current retail price of Rs 79,900.
At the moment, Flipkart hasn’t disclosed offers for the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone 16 or iPhone 13. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean these models will miss out on discounts. Earlier teaser pages briefly suggested that the iPhone 17 could be available for under Rs 80,000 during the Freedom Sale, indicating that more deals may be announced closer to the event.
With early access starting on August 7 for Plus and Black members and the main sale opening on August 8, buyers won’t have to wait much longer to find out which offers remain available once the event goes live.
