Footage reveals truck driver’s terrifying alleged near-miss with two teenage girls in Sydney’s northwest

Footage has revealed a truck driver’s terrifying near-miss with two schoolgirls who were standing by a crossing.

The truck driver allegedly ran a light before hitting the kerb near where two teenage girls were standing in Sydney’s northwest.

The video shows one of the girls jump back as the truck drives off past the intersection of Windsor Rd and Cemetery Boulevard in Kellyville Ridge.

Police allege the 26-year-old truck driver swerved past several cars before hitting the kerb and running a red light.

The two girls suffered minor injuries.

The Mount Pritchard man has been charged with driving recklessly/furiously or speeding/manner dangerous, not stopping at stop line at red light, not giving particulars to owner of damaged property and failing to stop and assist after impact cause injury.

He will front Blacktown Local Court on September 29.
