Three men have been hospitalised with stab wounds after an incident in Sydney’s south-west while another man is in a critical condition following a separate stabbing.
The trio filtered into Canterbury Hospital in the early hours of Monday morning with stab wounds following an alleged altercation outside a kebab shop on the corner of Canterbury Road and Fore Street at Canterbury.
Paramedics then transported the men to trauma hospitals. Two of the men, aged 23 and 24, were in a serious but stable condition, while a third man, 18, was stable.
Separately, a 38-year-old man is fighting for life after he was found with a stab wound to the stomach in Sydney’s west.
The man was found injured at Moreton Bay Square, Bidwill, about 8.10pm on Sunday.
A group of about 10 men and women who attended the scene allegedly attempted to interfere with the investigation but were dispersed without further incident, police say.
Elsewhere, a 42-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were taken to Westmead Hospital after what police believe to be a targeted home invasion at Guildford West.
About eight men forced entry into a unit on Fairfield Road about 10pm, allegedly assaulting the pair before fleeing in a black 4WD and a white dual cab ute.
Police have appealed for any CCTV or dashcam footage as part of investigations into the separate incidents.
