Spooky season is just around the corner, and those who love a frightening night out are in for a haunting treat when two Halloween-themed experiences arrive in Perth.
Global live entertainment platform Fever and immersive experts Make It Now are set to conjure up some wicked fun from September until December, with the bravest of folks warned to only participate if they dare.
The Serial Killer Speakeasy returns to Perth this weekend, where it combines live theatrical storytelling with cocktails inspired by some of history’s most notorious killers.
Taking place at Perth Town Hall, the experience will unfold through a series of live performances with each chapter focusing on a different crime figure from the likes of Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein.
Actors are set to guide audiences through the histories of the infamous killers, revisiting the crimes, investigations and details that made their cases part of popular culture.
As guests explore the darker side of true-crime history, they can sip on a selection of specially created cocktails, with each one served alongside its corresponding story.
Options include The Pale Blue Eye, an infusion of blueberry vodka and citrus served with a fresh-plucked-eye garnish; Cats Meow, a creamy rum and coconut milk punch garnished with cinnamon and star anise; The Nevermore, a vodka-based spirit with flavours of passionfruit and lime; and The Red Death, a berry-infused vodka topped with a rose.
The speakeasy is taking place on September 24 at 6pm and 8.30pm, September 25 at 5pm and 7.30pm, October 1 at 5.30pm and 8pm, October 22 at 6pm and 8.30pm, November 12 at 6pm and 8.30pm and December 3 at 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
However, if prison ghosts are more up your alley, then this Halloween, Prison Island is sure to put Perth to the ultimate eerie test.
Prison Island’s Horror Story is set to come to life after dark on October 16 at 36-40 Milligan Street where teams aim to battle their way through 35 cells in one hour.
Each cell contains a different physical, mental or strategic challenge while ghostly prisoners roam the corridors, appearing when teams least expect them.
Horror Story is taking over Perth October 16 -17, October 23-24 and October 28-31 from 7pm until midnight. No two nights are the same.
