CCTV has captured the moment a brutal stabbing unfolded at a shopping centre in western Sydney, leaving one person in a serious condition.
A 53-year-old man was seriously injured after another man stabbed him in the back at about 11.15am outside of a shopping centre on Commercial Rd, in Lalor Park.
The victim was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
CCTV has since been released of the moment the stabbing unfolds, capturing two men brawling in the street as one wields a knife.

Credit: Supplied Source KnownSuperintendent Brendan Gorman said that police were patrolling and conducting knife searches all the time in Blacktown and other areas in the city.
“We stop and search people when legally allowed to, we encourage people not to take knives unless they are lawfully allowed,” he said.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man about an hour later after searching a unit complex nearby.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command have established a crime scene.
