When people talk about successful young founders, the conversation often begins with elite colleges, powerful networks or access to resources. But the story of 19-year-old Ayush Singh is being discussed for a different reason.
According to a post shared on X, Ayush Singh is now earning around Rs 1 crore a month through his artificial intelligence education business. What makes his story stand out is that, as the post points out, he is “not an IITian, not an MIT grad, and wasn’t born with a silver spoon.”
Instead, his journey reportedly began at the age of 13, when the Covid-19 pandemic pushed his family into financial difficulty, and he decided to teach himself machine learning from scratch. What he had at the time was limited: “outdated courses, a patchy internet, a laptop, and a ridiculous amount of curiosity.”

Rather than giving up, he decided to teach himself machine learning.
LEARNING THE HARD WAY
The X post says Ayush spent his early teenage years studying artificial intelligence and machine learning independently. The effort reportedly paid off quickly.
“Within months, he was working with startups abroad,” the post states. It further says that at the age of 14, “MIT recommended his course publicly,” giving his work early recognition.
Over the next few years, Ayush reportedly worked on natural language processing systems for a United States-based startup and also took on roles as an MLOps engineer and data scientist.
BUILDING MORE THAN A CAREER
As his technical experience grew, so did his ambitions. According to the post, Ayush went on to found Antern and later co-found Second Brain Labs.
The post notes that, by most standards, he had already achieved what many young professionals spend years working towards. Yet another challenge remained.
TURNING KNOWLEDGE INTO A BUSINESS
Today, Ayush is focused on teaching artificial intelligence skills to engineers across India. The post says he helps learners gain skills that can open doors to new opportunities in the technology sector.
However, despite teaching hundreds of people, monetising that expertise was initially difficult.
“And yet, for all of it, the teaching was never paying him back,” the post says.
According to the author, what changed was not the quality of his knowledge but the way it was presented and delivered. “What was missing was packaging, positioning, and a system to sell it.”
The story highlights a growing trend among young professionals who are turning technical skills into educational ventures, creating opportunities not only for themselves but also for others looking to enter the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence.
