Hyderabad: Plumes of smoke were seen rising from an open field near the Patancheru excise station at around 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 30, sparking panic among locals. Fire officials quickly doused the fire, and no loss of life or property was reported.
Speaking to Siasat.com, the Patancheru Fire Station officer informed that some Plaster of Paris waste kept in the field had caught fire. “It was a small fire that was doused in around 30 minutes. It did not spread to any other structures nearby.”
