A late-night pizza delivery in the US’s Philadelphia ended in tragedy for a young Indian national, who was shot dead. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Anshul Kuncha, who hailed from Hyderabad.
He was working in Philadelphia and was reportedly delivering a pizza order when unidentified assailants opened fire on him. Family members said he was shot multiple times during the attack.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and authorities in the US are investigating what led to the fatal incident.
The killing has sent Anshul’s family and friends into deep shock.
SHOOTING UNDER INVESTIGATION
According to family members, Anshul was on a delivery assignment when the attack took place. He succumbed to his injuries after being shot several times.
Officials have not yet disclosed what triggered the shooting or whether any suspects have been identified.
Local law enforcement agencies in Philadelphia have launched an investigation, and more details are expected as the probe progresses.
INDIAN CONSULATE CONFIRMS DEATH
Following the incident, the Consulate General of India in New York said it was in touch with the bereaved family and was extending assistance.
“We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Mr. Anshul Kuncha, an Indian national in Philadelphia, PA,” the Consulate said in a post on X.
“Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time. The Consulate is in touch with Anushul’s family and is extending all possible assistance.”
Officials are also coordinating with local authorities regarding the investigation and the formalities required to bring Anshul’s mortal remains back to India.
