Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday alleged that a few members of the grand old party were acting like separatists in response to objections from some Telangana Congress officials to a proposed Jana Sena group meeting here.
The Jana Sena leader head demanded that some Telangana Congress officials ‘ limited local elections, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, “respond” to these issues.
Jana Sena, he said, had object if regionalism violated national identity.
He added that his party had vote in Telangana’s upcoming assembly elections in 2028.
He claimed that he cannot represent the TDP and BJP, which are his NDA friends.
Former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi engaged in a fight in Telangana from Medak, while previous prime minister Indira Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra fought from Wayanad in Kerala.
P V Narasimha Rao, a local of Telangana, was elected from Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh to the Lok Sabha.
” You say no one ( those not from Telangana ) should visit here. Do you believe this to be India or Pakistan? This is my nation. I did get anyplace. It’s my legal straight, Kalyan told reporters in this city.

Jana Sena primarily operates in Andhra, but Kalyan said he would moreover tour in Telangana in accordance with people’s desires.
He defended his belief that he was never opposed to the division of Entire Andhra Pradesh, but only that the fighting spirit of the Telangana citizens and its society fueled his assertion.
Referring to remarks made by some unbiased mind creators who questioned how he could establish a presence in Hyderabad, he claimed he would not be alarmed by such threats.
He asserted that Jana Sena never insulted Telangana formation and the state’s interests. Jana Sena, he said, had object if regionalism violated national identity.
” If you continue to yell about regionalism, it may harm the security of the nation.” It will damage the inner safety if you keep telling him he is from Telangana, Andhra, Maratha, and Tamil. He said,” If you keep speaking in this manner, it will be more harmful than violence.”
Kalyan expressed his satisfaction at BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s (KCR ) announcement to launch his party’s base in Andhra Pradesh.
On June 1, the Telangana Police refused to grant permission for a Pawan Kalyan appointment to take place around on Tuesday.
The agreement was denied in order to maintain “law and order and common peace and tranquillity,” according to police.
In its decision to block the proposed meeting, the officers cited the alleged notes of a political scientist from Telangana about Pawan Kalyan and the subsequently registration of legal cases against him in Andhra Pradesh, which allegedly led to an escalating “tensions and animosities” generated across Telangana, as one of the reasons for the refusal of the agreement.
