In Hyderabad, the HMWSSB charges two for allegedly causing improper motoring and water wastage.

Hyderabad: On September 21, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board ( HMWSSB ) issued a fine to two Malkajgiri residents for using an illegal motor and causing water wastage.

Pankaja, the executive producer of the Malkajgiri region, conducted surprise inspections within the Saroornagar Circle restrictions and imposed a Rs. 5, 000 fine on a Dilsukhnagar resident who used an illegal machine in Stat Nagar.

A client was fined Rs 1, 000 in Alkapuri Yadav Nagar for wasting water on the floor. The ED examined the types of connections used for both business and building purposes. She instructed officials to carry out quick repairs after discovering a pipeline seep in Yadav Nagar Colony.

She even inspected the properties of water tanker customers regularly. Issues were identified as small borewell water availability, limited connection capacity in relation to needs, and bad maintenance of wash pits. She advised buyers to properly clean and restrict top water into wash pits.

Pankaja instructed professionals to regularly check the water source during these hours. She made it clear that any illegal use of vehicles or the dumping of drinking water has been punished in accordance with the laws.
