In Telangana, SHG women perhaps soon run energy buses and gasoline bunks.

State Minorities Minister Mohammad Azharuddin in Hyderabad on Saturday inaugurated the distribution of Indiramma saris to members of the Self Help Group ( SHG ) at Banjara Bhavan.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ( GHMC) will give SHG women 7.1 lakh Indiramma saris as part of the Indira Mahila Shakti initiative.

According to Azharuddin, the government is focused on making one million women in Telangana financially impartial entrepreneurs. He claimed that the government is looking into new ways to provide people with green income possibilities through SHGs. In order to support this effort, it is considering taskeding SHG members with running and managing energy buses and gasoline cots, enabling them to be financially independent and active participants in the country’s economic growth.
