Comedian and content creator Samay Raina is taking India’s Got Latent to a bigger stage. India Today has exclusively learnt that the hit talent-comedy show will return with a new season next month and will stream on Netflix while continuing to release on Raina’s YouTube channel.
According to sources, the move is part of a unique distribution strategy that allows the show to retain its massive digital-first audience while expanding its reach through a global streaming platform. The upcoming season is currently in production, with shooting already underway.

Sources further reveal that apart from the regular season, Raina is also set to film a special episode exclusively for Netflix. Unlike the main episodes, which will be available on both YouTube and the streamer, this standalone instalment is being designed as a Netflix-only offering. Details regarding the format, guest line-up and release schedule remain under wraps. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari will also be seen promoting Alpha on the show.
The development marks a significant moment for India’s Got Latent, which has evolved from a creator-led experiment into one of India’s most talked-about digital entertainment properties. The show struck a chord with audiences for its blend of talent showcases, spontaneous humour and unfiltered interactions between contestants and celebrity panellists.
The show, however, also found itself at the centre of controversy earlier this year following remarks made during an episode featuring podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. The backlash led to legal challenges and the temporary removal of episodes from public platforms, casting uncertainty over the future of the show.
Despite the setback, Raina assured fans that India’s Got Latent would return.
