Hyderabad: Following a technical team’s approval, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation ( TGSRTC ) granted 268 JBM electric buses a fitness clearance.
Following a string of fire incidents, on July 2, all 500 JBM trucks operating in the Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, Nalgonda, and Mahabubnagar parts were briefly suspended from services.
A professional team, made up of JBM professionals, Chinese researchers, and specialists from TGSRTC’s Command Control Center at Bus Bhavan, had previously cleared a total of 150 buses. On Wednesday, July 8, the crew cleared an additional 118 cars.
The rest of the cars are anticipated to begin operating in the coming two to three days. TGSRTC has placed more trucks on routes where JBM buses are still in use to prevent inconvenience to commuters while the remaining buses are being inspected.
Trucks canceled because of power problems
An electronic vehicle that was traveling from Karimnagar to Hyderabad caught hearth near Algunur on June 21. Another electronic vehicle parked at the Hanumakonda station was damaged earlier on June 11 in a fireplace incident.
TGSRTC officials claimed that modest technical problems and breakdowns in the buses had already been resolved through repairs and that operations had resumed. Authorities were concerned about the recent spate of flames situations, though.
The issue was addressed with care, and discussions took place with JBM members. The company reportedly discovered some shortcomings in a primary observation in Karimnagar in relation to battery maintenance and fastening systems.
A professional staff from JBM’s Delhi office would carry out a thorough examination in Karimnagar and prepare a statement.
