Jessica Alba got matching tattoos with her daughter Honor Warren to mark her 18th birthday,
The 45-year-old star enlisted Los Angeles tattoo artist Daniel ‘Winterstone’ Winter – whose celebrity clients include Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Matt Damon – to ink a pair of eyes on each of their left wrists.
Winterstone captioned an Instagram post from July 5: “What a way to show love with an unforgettable experience! A memory they will share forever!”
Honor – the daughter of Jessica and her former husband Cash Warren – revealed that the inking took place before July 1 as she posted a picture of herself holding hands with her mother that was captioned: “Me x Mama.”
The aspiring filmmaker turned 18 in June and Jessica expressed her pride at seeing her daughter grow up in a social media post to mark the special day.
The Sin City actress wrote: “I could not be more proud of the young woman you have become.
“As you step into adulthood, part of me wants to hold you close forever and keep you safe. But an even bigger part wants to watch you fly – to explore this world and discover everything that calls to your soul.
“And through it all, I will always be here. Whether you need comforting when you’re sick, a hug or miss home, I’ll jump on the plane to see you – I’m here. Always.”
Jessica – who also has daughter Haven, 15, and son Hayes, eight, with her ex-husband – insisted last year that her children will always be her top “priority”.
She told E! News at the Baby2Baby Gala: “They’re my No. 1 priority. So as long as they’re happy and they’re good and they’re healthy, we’re all good.”
The Fantastic Four actress has been a long-time advocate of Baby2Baby and wants the organisation to provide basic items for children and families in need.
Alba said: “As a mother, there’s nothing more important than being able to provide for children.
“There are so many families that are trying to get by and doing the best they can, and they still really struggle to be able to provide basic necessities for their babies.”
