Kim Kardashian stunned her All’s Fair castmates with her insistence on eating the “prop food”.
The 46-year-old star is the “greediest woman” Niecy Nash-Betts has ever met because she can’t help but tuck into the meals and snacks laid out during filming, despite her co-stars, including Sarah Paulson and Naomi Watts, warning her it isn’t a good idea.
Speaking on Good Morning America, Kim said: “It’s real food and I eat it the whole time.
“I’ll be walking by after they cut and I’m like, ‘Can I take a plate of that pie with me?'”
Niecy laughed: “Do not let that tiny body fool you: She eats everything.
“I said, ‘This is prop food! Why are you eating this?’ This is the greediest woman I’ve ever met in my life.”
Kim’s co-stars explained there are valid reasons why they don’t eat prop food.
Sarah said: “We don’t want to eat it all day.”
Naomi added: “It’s a thing called continuity. If you eat it in the scene, you have to keep doing it.”
While Kim – who has four children with ex-husband Kanye West – admitted she should have heeded the warnings, she just can’t help herself.
She said: “Because I’m new to this, they tried to tell me, ‘Hey, continuity. Pace yourself. Eat a grape or half a grape because you’re gonna have to do that the same time 50 times.’
“By the end, I am like, ‘What did I get myself into?’ But I love it.”
The Skims founder is happy to rustle up some snacks for her co-stars to enjoy away from the cameras.
She said: “Last night in my room, I made Rice Krispie treats because I wanted all the girls to try them.”
Meanwhile, Kim previously claimed she doesn’t care about what people think of her.
The reality star hit back at her critics, arguing that her talent lies in “marketing and the business behind selling products”.
Asked about her talents and the keys to her success, Kim told Interview magazine: “I’m like, ‘Well, we have a TV show.’ But just because we’re not singing and dancing and acting on the show doesn’t mean that the fame didn’t come from that.
“But then, I would write that as a hashtag, not bad for a girl with no talent, because people used to be like, ‘Well, what do you do? What’s your talent?’ And I’m like, ‘Didn’t know I needed one.’
“I mean, I can give you a million f****** talents. I can cook well, use my toes for anything. I could tell you the weirdest f****** s*** on the planet. But I think my talent is marketing and the business behind selling products and knowing what the customer wants and making it feel attainable, but also a bit unattainable at the same time.
“I wouldn’t say that’s a talent. I think it’s a bit of magic and business savvy. Maybe it is talent, I don’t know.”
