Lady Gaga will be a “brilliant mother”, according to one of her dancer friends.
The 40-year-old singer recently became a first-time parent to Rose Bean, with fiancé Michael Polansky, and her close pal and collaborator Michael Dameski told People that she’ll be a natural parent.
The 30-year-old, who danced with the singer in the Abracadabra music video, told People that Gaga’s maternal instincts have always been clear to see.
He said: “I think, for me, it’s just the way she just would treat us (on tour and set) — with so much care and love. I really see (motherhood) for her and I’m really excited for her.”
Michael called Gaga “the hardest worker I think I’ve ever encountered in my life”, praising her “inspiring” work ethic, and added: “I’m so grateful for having that experience because I just don’t think I’ve ever met someone who works as hard.”
Gaga welcomed Rose into the world in June, according to official documents, with a source telling People that the tot’s unusual first name was inspired by the singer performing La Vie En Rose in 2018 movie A Star is Born.
Fans believe Rose’s middle name of Bean is a way of the star honouring activist Carl Bean, who inspired her massive hit Born This Way.
She and Michael have holed up after becoming parents, and haven’t publicly confirmed their daughter’s name or sex.
But Gaga is apparently enjoying making the most of her new arrival away from the spotlight.
The source added: “Right now, she’s enjoying being away from the public eye and having this special time with the baby.
“Michael is great with the baby. They’re figuring everything out together. She doesn’t want to miss any of it.”
Gaga previously opened up about her anticipated parenting style during an interview with Howard Stern in 2025, when the host remarked that he could see the singer being an “all-in mom”.
She replied: “You’re actually right on the money with that!”
Gaga added: “I just really want them to have a very safe and happy childhood, so you’re not wrong that that will become my No. 1 priority.”
