Dembélé having a field day
Dembélé is just toying with the Norwegians now, every time he gets the ball in close range, he scores!
It is quite ridiculous to think that he’s just casually collected a hat trick, and Mbappé is waiting in the wings.
The sun has come out here in Boston too, it’s not too hot but those hydration breaks might not be detested quite so much today.

Cracking game in Boston
With both teams already through, there was a chance this game could have been a non-event.
But it’s turned out to be a cracker.

It’s a goal bonanza
The dust had barely settled on Dembele’s second goal, before the Norwegians hit back.
The French weren’t switched on after the restart and made it too easy for the understrength Norway to find space and Aasgaard pounced.
Turns out Erling Haaland isn’t the only Norwegian who can find the back of the net, and for the good of the game, and these loyal fans who spent their hard earned, would be great to have this remain a real contest.

What a game we have in Boston.

13′ Red card for Iraq!

What a disastrous start for Iraq.
They conceded an early goal and now they’re down to 10 men.
Rebin Sulaka brought down Sadio Mane and was booked.
After a VAR review, Sulakahas was judged to have denied Mane a clear goalscoring opportunity.
Upgraded to red.

Dembele strikes
It is rocking in Boston, the fans seem to be fairly evenly split between the two sides, but the French fans generate some great noise after Dembele’s opener.
Les Bleus have been dominating the early stages and look primed to unleash even more.
On a side note, my seat is so, so high up in the stadium but it’s epic! Especially in an open air stadium, I feel like I’m floating in the clouds, what a spot to watch these two teams go at it.

Greetings from Boston Stadium
I’ve made it to the east coast, and as much as I enjoyed my time in Texas, I really did not cope well with the heat!
The Boston climate is much more agreeable, it’s overcast, 24 degrees, and I’m not sweating up a storm so a win for the average punters i.e. me.
Especially since this is an outdoor stadium, unlike the air conditioned luxury I had become accustomed to in Dallas and Houston.
Plenty of fans from both teams are about. The Norwegians had an epic pre-game party last night with several thousand fans raging into the night, but with the side that Norway has put out today, it may be Les Bleus who kick on tonight.

Race for World Cup’s Golden Boot
Erling Haaland will be frustrated to be sat on the bench as he chases the Golden Boat.
Lionel Messi is currently in the lead with five goals.
Kylian Mbappé has four, so he has a chance today to go level, or even above Messi.
Haaland also has four, but he’s been rested today.
