With Brisbane captain Adam Reynolds out injured, young Tom Duffy has been filling in at halfback, but he’s lost his spot to Ben Hunt after another tough loss to the Warriors last week.
“Our performance last week was not what we’re about. We’ve got another opportunity tonight to go out and show what this team’s capable of. I’ve got a lot of belief in the boys but it’s about making sure they put in the 80 minutes now.”
Broncos coach Michael Maguire says he hopes Hunt can bring some composure and experience to a battling Broncos side.
“I’ve been really impressed with Tommy, he’s been excellent, but that’s the reason we have [Hunt] there, to be able to come in and steer the ship through these periods.”
