Police have charged a man with trespass following an incident at a Ravenhall business, where he allegedly subjected a woman to verbal abuse while trying to sell a business service.
The Mernda man, 46, allegedly entered a warehouse on Katherine Dr and aggressively touted a business service about 3.40pm on May 11.
When the sole occupant of the building, a 27-year-old Caroline Springs woman, declined the man and told him to leave, he allegedly became aggressive and refused.
The man eventually left the premises and the woman was not injured during the incident.
In a statement, Victoria Police said the man had since been charged with trespass.
He will front Sunshine Magistrate’s Court on September 2.
The business’ owner, Mikaela Borg, earlier told 7News she was left “frightened” and in tears after the man allegedly attempted to sell her vouchers to a local mechanic.
CCTV allegedly captured the visibly-frustrated man grabbing the camera, before telling Ms Borg “shut the door and … go jump in a lake”, before he walked off.

“I’m just frightened, obviously, to be in my own workplace,” she told 7News.
“I didn’t know who he was – he wasn’t wearing ID.”
