A man is accused of threatening security at the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane with what they believed was a real gun in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The 21-year-old man was allegedly in possession of drugs and several replica firearms, and was arrested at the hospital about 2.30am.
The man, who lived locally, was taken into custody and charged with one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, threats, and possessing dangerous drugs.
He is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
