A 17-year-old girl has been found dead inside a home in a remote Northern Territory community, with a man now in custody.
The teenager was found unresponsive in a home at Galiwinku, about 550km northwest of Darwin, at about 11am on Monday.
Police and staff from a local health clinic were called to the scene, but the girl could not be revived.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in relation to her death, which police are treating as suspicious.
No charges have yet been laid.
Investigations are ongoing.
