A man has been arrested and charged with making false claims about injuries sustained during the Bondi terror attack.
In the aftermath of the horrific shooting which claimed the lives of 15 innocent people on December 14, a number of police investigations were launched adjacent to the major Joint Counter Terrorism investigation into the attack itself.
One of those investigations began after a 46-year-old man allegedly began making compensation claims related to an injury he said he had sustained during the terrorist attack.
Police allege the statements, and subsequent claims for compensation, were false.
At about 10am on Tuesday, the man was arrested at Parramatta Police Station and charged with publishing false and misleading material to obtain advantage and false representation resulting in a police investigation.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
The alleged fraud is one of two separate criminal incidents currently before the courts alleged to have taken place after the Bondi shooting.
Danny James Ridley, 35, allegedly stole a camera from the body of celebrated former police officer and Randwick Rugby manager Peter Meagher.
Police allege Mr Ridley, who has pleaded not guilty, stole the camera minutes after the shooting, and then pawned it off.
More to come.
