A man has died and another is in police custody after an alleged fatal assault at a unit complex in Sydney’s northwest.
The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was found with serious injuries at a unit block in Ermington about 1.15am on Friday.
Police and paramedics tried to revive the man at the scene before he was rushed to hospital.
He died a short time later.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Gladesville Police Station.
No charges have been laid.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are ongoing.
