Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported total sales of 2,00,390 units in June 2026, registering a 19.3% year-on-year (YoY) increase over 1,67,993 units sold in June 2025. The growth was driven by stronger domestic passenger vehicle sales, continued momentum in utility vehicles, and robust exports.
Domestic sales, including passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles (LCVs), stood at 1,50,150 units, up from 1,21,339 units in the same month last year. Sales to other OEMs, however, declined to 7,472 units from 8,812 units a year ago. Exports continued their upward trajectory, rising to 42,768 units compared with 37,842 units in June 2025.

Among passenger vehicles, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,47,187 units in the domestic market, marking a significant improvement over 1,18,906 units in June last year. The company’s utility vehicle portfolio including the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, XL6, e Vitara and Victoris remained great contributor, with sales climbing to 61,726 units, a rise of nearly 29% from 47,947 units in June 2025.
Sales of the compact and mid-size passenger car range, comprising the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR, also grew steadily to 63,815 units from 55,205 units a year earlier. The entry-level Mini segment, consisting of the Alto and S-Presso, recorded the sharpest percentage increase, with sales surging to 11,416 units from 6,414 units in June 2025. Overall passenger car sales stood at 75,231 units, compared with 61,619 units in the corresponding month last year.
The Eeco van contributed 10,230 units, up from 9,340 units, while the Super Carry light commercial vehicle posted sales of 2,963 units, compared with 2,433 units in June 2025.
For the first quarter of FY2026-27 (April-June), Maruti Suzuki’s total sales reached 6,82,724 units, up from 5,27,861 units during the same period of FY2025-26. Domestic sales, including OEM supplies, increased to 5,57,988 units from 4,30,889 units, while exports rose to 1,24,736 units, compared with 96,972 units in the year-ago period.
The strong June performance reinforces Maruti Suzuki’s position in the Indian passenger vehicle market, with growth across nearly all major segments and exports continuing to play an increasingly important role in the company’s overall sales performance.
